Grilled Striploin Steak in a Mushroom Cream Sauce
INGREDIENTS:
2 – 6 oz. Striploin Steaks
½ cup - Sliced Mushrooms
1 cup - Whipping Cream
¼ cup – Carrots, julienne
¼ cup – Red Onion, julienne
¼ cup – Red Pepper, julienne
¼ cup – Celery, julienne
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper, to taste
EQUIPMENT:
Two-Burner Stove Camp Buddy
Wooden Spoon
Metal Tongs
2 Frying Pans
MAKES:
2 Servings
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1. Preheat your BakerStone grill to high heat.
Step 2. Add some oil to the steaks and place on the grill. Season with salt & pepper.
Step 3. Grill your steak until desired doneness.
Step 4. Heat a frying pan to high heat. Add oil, mushrooms, salt & pepper.
Step 5. When mushrooms are fully cooked, add the cream and reduce by three quarters.
Step 6. Heat another frying pan to high heat. Add oil, vegetables, salt & pepper.
Step 7. Plate your beautiful entrée and enjoy!
