CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE A LA MODE

INGREDIENTS:

10 to 12 servings - Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

2 scoops - Vanilla Ice Cream

Chocolate Sauce

 

EQUIPMENT:

2 - Small Round Cast Iron Skillets (6” to 8 diameter)

or 1 - Cast Iron Skillet (10” to 12 diameter)

High Temperature Oven Mitts

Meat Thermometer

 

SERVES: 4

 

METHOD:

1. Preheat the Pizza Oven Box on Medium for 15 to 20 minutes.

2. Evenly distribute the Cookie Dough between the Small Round Cast Iron Skillets or onto the Cast Iron Skillet in order to ensure even baking.

3. Using the High Temperature Oven Mitts, carefully place the Small Round Cast Iron Skillets or Cast Iron Skillet into the Pizza Oven Box and bake for 4 to 5 minutes.

4. Using the High Temperature Oven Mitts, carefully rotate the Small Round Cast Iron Skillets or Cast Iron Skillet 180 degrees (if the Cast Iron Skillet handle prohibits this, then rotate as far to each side as you can for equal amounts of time during baking) and continue roasting another 4 to 6 minutes, or until the Cookie Dough is cooked through.

5. Using the High Temperature Oven Mitts, carefully remove the Small Round Cast Iron Skillets or Cast Iron Skillet from the Pizza Oven Box and place upon a heat-resistant surface.

6. Top each Small Round Cast Iron Skillet or the Cast Iron Skillet with the Vanilla Ice Cream, drizzle with Chocolate Sauce, serve and enjoy!
